Theresa Tran

Theresa Tran - President
After 14 years in corporate America, Theresa decided to fulfill her entrepreneurial dream of starting a lifestyle marketing company that would help corporations and individuals navigate the world of pop culture and consumer media to become hot lifestyle brands, leveraging her infectious creativity grounded in traditional brand marketing.

She earned her marketing cred at Nike, Inc., where she spent 8 years, most recently as the Director of Communications for Jordan, Nike’s flagship brand centered on Michael Jordan. In this position, she oversaw public relations, events and entertainment marketing as well as contributed to the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, helping the business more than double in revenues over the five years of her tenure, and putting the brand on track to become a $1 billion entity.

With a solid sports industry background, Theresa also sought out to pursue positions in fashion, entertainment and design, and therefore took her career to New York and Los Angeles for 7 years, rounding out her marketing expertise, management strengths and her rolodex.

In New York, her two stints included Licensing & Merchandising Manager at Miramax Films (a Walt Disney Company), as well as Associate Director of Marketing for Donna Karan’s DKNY fashion label (an LVMH company).  In Los Angeles, she joined BMW’s prestigious automotive design studio as their Director of Marketing and Communications.

Theresa stays equally busy away from work.  She mentors underprivileged youth in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and also serves on the board of the Boost Foundation, which motivates and inspires youth to give back to their communities.  In addition, she is a frequent guest lecturer on the high-school, college and professional speaking circuit, sharing her vast experiences with students and industry peers.

Theresa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Portland State University.  During her spare time, she is a frequent world traveler, a connoisseur of stiletto shoes, a classical pianist and an avid snowboarder. She currently divides her time between Los Angeles and Portland - and will live and work anywhere in the world as long as there is good food and good people (good weather a major plus).
